“could have been an epic and lovingly created mini series”
I could write at length about the film Ender’s Game but it would probably be more useful to, at some point in the future, reread and review the exceptional novel, a book that has had a profound influence on my own writing. The most important thing to record about the movie is that they smashed so much content into it that they earned very few of their emotional moments and still barely scratched the surface of the complex ideas that Orson Scott Card created. In the end, I was frustrated it was made. It could have been an epic and lovingly created mini series instead of a compromising, forgettable blunder.
