If one could look past the unfortunate dialogue, the uneven pacing, the plot holes, the character inconsistencies, and the ham-fisted metaphors connecting orcs to black people and elves to rich whitey, then perhaps you’d find a nice blend of urban cop action and classic fantasy worth watching. But one can’t possibly look past such things. To do so would be akin to looking at the rotting corpse of a woman, eyes milky white, mouth filled with pus, skin cracked, bloody, and in some areas burnt, and seeing her as pretty. At a certain point, one can’t accept a story for its flaws, and has to declare it dead.
