Maybe it's passing the Bechdel test here, but I doubt it.  They're probably talking about the men.

Watched/written on March 19, 2014:  This film barely exists.  If you google search "Straight A's film" it says, "did you mean Easy A?" There's more content in this review than in the Wikipedia article, and I've already grown bored of writing it.  The story in Straight A’s follows a pair of brothers leading very different lives and differently challenged by their family.  One is engaged to Anna Paquin, yet the other one, the irresponsible one, loves her too.  All stakes are lower than the film seems to think they are, all themes duller, all characters less likable, and all of the choices made in resolution less interesting.  A year from now I’m not going to remember anything about this film.

Addendum February 3, 2016:  Yeah, I don't.
